Dorette Pollard's Creative Journey

Dorette Pollard is a Canadian artist residing in Toronto. Born in Nevis, West Indies, Dorette began painting while studying in Paris in 1993. Her artwork focuses on the similitude of life through black and white water-soluble oils. Her work has been exhibited by jury selection at the Ontario Archives: Centenary in Celebration of Ontario Artists. More recently, she has begun to explore the use of colours in her palette as a student at the Toronto School of Art.
