ART FOR SALE

The “Wanted Men Series” consists of 10 portraits of men of good renown. This series responds to the “Missing Women Series” of 64 portraits of Missing and Murdered Women of the Downtown East side of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, most of whom were Indigenous.

Painted in 2007, following the conviction of the man responsible for up to 49 of these murders, the series stands for the proposition that if we had more men like these, perhaps we would not have men of ill renown -serial killers- who murder women.

The five portraits available for PRINTS ONLY include Muhammad Ali #3, John Lennon #6, Sir Winston Churchill #7, Bertrand Russell #8 and President John F. Kennedy #9.

Each original is 16″ x 12″ (40.6 x 30.5 cm) water soluble oils on canvas.
